I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working at Santa Maria Hostel, a recovery center for women of different backgrounds who are pregnant or have children and are at higher risk of substance use or domestic violence. As a Parent Coach I give support to women ages 17 and up by educating them on healthy habits for raising children and giving them coping skills as they face many challenges of parenting. My interests in counseling include advocating for the substance use population to have more resources with which to empower themselves and change their lifestyles for the better.
